Postgraduate Medical Journal, 1987 Summary We report two patients with primary adenocarcinoma of the duodenum who underwent successful pancreatico-duodenectomy (modified Whipple operation). One patient died from an unrelated cause three years following surgery whilst the other remains well and clinically free of disease 3 years after resection.

Somatostatinoma of the duodenum [PDF]
Cancer, 1979 An adenocarcinoma of the second portion of the duodenum in a 26-year-old male is presented. The patient was suffering from pain in the epigastrium. Immunofluorescent studies revealed that it consisted almost exclusively of cells with a distincly positive somatostatin-like immunoreactivity.
