IGCN: Image-to-graph Convolutional Network for 2D/3D Deformable Registration [PDF]
Organ shape reconstruction based on a single-projection image during treatment has wide clinical scope, e.g., in image-guided radiotherapy and surgical guidance. We propose an image-to-graph convolutional network that achieves deformable registration of a 3D organ mesh for a single-viewpoint 2D projection image.

Computational model of drug dissolution in the stomach: effects of posture and gastroparesis on drug bioavailability [PDF]
The oral route is the most common choice for drug administration because of convenience, low cost, and high patient compliance, but is also a complex route. The rate of dissolution and gastric emptying of the dissolved active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) into the duodenum is modulated by factors such as gastric motility, but current in-vitro ...

Difficult diagnosis of an air‐containing, abscess‐like, and mass‐like pancreatic head lesion
Duodenal diverticulosis can be a difficult CT diagnosis and should be considered in the differential diagnosis when a periduodenal mass‐like structure that may contain air, air‐fluid level, or oral contrast material is depicted.

Duodenal Metastases From Renal Cell Carcinoma Presented With Melena: Review and Case Report [PDF]
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) metastasis to duodenum is very rare and only a few case reports are available in the literature. We here reported a patient with solitary duodenal metastasis presented with melena six years after right nephrectomy.

Simulated dose painting of hypoxic sub-volumes in pancreatic cancer stereotactic body radiotherapy [PDF]
Dose painting of hypoxic tumour sub-volumes using positron-emission tomography (PET) has been shown to improve tumour control in silico in several sites. Pancreatic cancer presents a more stringent challenge, given its proximity to critical organs-at-risk (OARs) and anatomic motion.

Cold plasma endoscopy applied to biliary ducts: feasibility risk assessment on human-like and porcine models for the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma [PDF]
For the past twelve years, cold plasmas have been positioned as a breakthrough technology for treating cancer thanks to their antitumor properties. The innovation of ad hoc plasma sources and personalized protocols appears crucial to treat cancers with a very poor prognosis.

Development of an ex vivo model for pharmacological experimentation on isolated tissue preparation
Pharmacology as a subject depends largely on experiments conducted in laboratory animals. Experimental animals like rat, guinea pig, rabbit, etc. are used for the biological assay. For the teaching purposes to use isolated strip preparations from various
