Intelligent Controlled Dynamic Voltage Restorer for Improving Transient Voltage Quality

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
A dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is developed to stabilize the three-phase load voltage under the sudden grid voltage distortion conditions, including the voltage sag, swell and unbalance.

Lithium‐Ion Battery Safety Evaluation by Quantifying Lithium Plating Degree Based on Pressure Signals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Low N/P cells enable controllable lithium plating, allowing the lithium plating degree (DLi) to be quantified and linked to thermal safety. Pressure signals during calibration provide a non‐destructive route to diagnose DLi, while thermal response tests define safety levels and management strategies. The framework remains applicable in commercial 12 Ah

Discrete variable approaches to tetratomic molecules Part I: DVR(6) and DVR(3)+DGB methods [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We present two discrete variable representation (DVR) based methods for the determination of the vibrational energy levels of tetratomic molecules. Both methods are designed for orthogonal internal coordinates in a body-fixed reference frame and make use

Enhancement of DFIG-Wind Turbine’s LVRT capability using novel DVR based Odd-nary Cascaded Asymmetric Multi-Level Inverter

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal, 2017
One of the most prominent issues relevant to Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is augmentation of its Low Voltage Ride Through (LVRT) capability. Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is a series kind of Distributed-Flexible AC Transmission Systems (D-FACTS)

Design and Optimization of a Double‐Column Vapor Recompression Heat Pump Distillation Process via NSGA‐II for Separating Ternary Wide‐Boiling Mixtures

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study proposes a novel double‐column vapor recompression heat pump (DCVRHP) distillation process for separating ternary wide‐boiling‐range mixtures under two different vapor conditions: n‐hexane/n‐heptane/n‐octane using low pressure steam and n‐hexanol/n‐octanol/n‐decanol using high pressure steam.

PQ Improvement by Moderation of Multi-Level Inverter Controlling Techniques and Intensifying the Performance of DVR

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2015
A novel control scheme is proposed for the enhancement of Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) performance. In this paper, the moderation of inverter controlling techniques has been adopted to intensify the DVR characteristics and thereby to improve the Power ...

Clock Genes Regulate Ca2+ Signaling and Mitochondrial Bioenergetics to Inhibit Sjögren Disease

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Although Ca2+ signaling and metabolism have been identified as key determinants for the development of Sjögren disease (SjD), the intricate connection between them and salivary gland physiology remains poorly understood. Methods Fluorescence‐based Ca2+ imaging, RNA sequencing, and mitochondrial activity were used to investigate the effects of

One‐Step Electrodeposition of Iron Oxyhydroxide Onto 3D Porous Graphene Substrates for on Chip Asymmetric Micro‐Supercapacitors

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2025.
A micro‐supercapacitor with electrodeposited iron oxyhydroxide (FeOOH) as the negative electrode and birnessite manganese oxide (MnO2) as the positive electrode achieves a 2 V working voltage, stable cycling in an aqueous electrolyte, and high energy and power densities of 21 μWh cm‐2 and 2.5 mW cm‐2 respectively.
