A Finitely Generated Module over a Valuation Domain

open access: yesCauchy: Jurnal Matematika Murni dan Aplikasi, 2019
This article discusses about some properties which are equivalent between a finitely generated module over PID and a finitely generated module over a valuation domain. This can be done by considering a finitely generated module over a DVR.

The multiple hit model of infantile and epileptic spasms: The 2025 update

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Infantile and epileptic spasms syndrome (IESS) is a developmental and epileptic encephalopathy manifesting with epileptic spasms and poor neurodevelopmental outcomes. There is an urgent need for the development of more effective and tolerated therapies.

Evaluation of Depth of Field for depth perception in DVR [PDF]

open access: yes2013 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis), 2013
In this paper, we present a user study on the use of Depth of Field for depth perception in Direct Volume Rendering. Direct Volume Rendering with Phong shading and perspective projection is used as the baseline. Depth of Field is then added to see its impact on the correct perception of ordinal depth.

A Novel Bipolar DC Connection Strategy for Photovoltaic Power Plants With a 50% Reduction in DC Cabling Length

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Bipolar configuration is a new topology in the direct current (DC) system of photovoltaic power plants, which is topologically analogous to the bipolar configuration utilised in High‐Voltage Direct Current power transmission systems. DC cable length and copper usage are reduced by 50% using a bipolar configuration.

MITIGATION OF VOLTAGE SAG USING DVR [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Power quality is one of the major concerns in the era of power system. Power quality problem occurred due to non- standard voltage, current or frequency, that result in a failure of end user equipment.

Impact of cerebral blood flow and amyloid load on SUVR bias

open access: yesEJNMMI Research, 2022
Background Despite its widespread use, the semi-quantitative standardized uptake value ratio (SUVR) may be biased compared with the distribution volume ratio (DVR).

Design of a Multi‐Complex Disturbance Generator Using Virtual Instrumentation for Power Quality Monitoring Research

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
A real‐time power quality disturbance generator is developed using virtual instrumentation based on LabVIEW and NI MyDAQ. The system generates IEEE‐standard PQ events with controllable noise and harmonics. Measurement uncertainty analysis confirms its reliability for realistic testing of Power Quality Disturbance detection and classification algorithms.

Spatial Patterns, Driving Forces, and Potential Grain Losses of Non‐Grain Production of Farmland in Central Yunnan Urban Agglomeration, China

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The expansion of farmland non‐grain production (NGP) poses a potential threat to food security and agricultural land protection, particularly in mountainous urban agglomerations. However, the utilization patterns, driving mechanisms, and associated production‐loss effects of farmland NGP in this specific regional context remain insufficiently ...

Influence of mix design method on the shear capacity of reinforced concrete beams made with high‐quality recycled coarse aggregate

open access: yesStructural Concrete, EarlyView.
Abstract This study investigates the shear capacity behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) beams without stirrups incorporating recycled coarse aggregate (RCA). An extensive database comprising 269 experimental data points from 40 journal articles published between 2001 and 2025 was compiled, excluding specimens with recycled fine aggregate or fiber ...
