Planetary Nebulae in the Sagittarius Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxy

2006
The Sagittarius dwarf galaxy (Sgr) is a satellite of the Galaxy, located behind the Galactic Bulge. It is the nearest extra-galactic system, at a distance of 25 kpc. Sgr contains three known planetary nebulae (PNe) (two from Zijlstra & Walsh 1996, and one new identification).
