2L-DWTS — Steganography technique based on second level DWT

2016 International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI), 2016
Steganography is a technique used to communicate a secret message secretly hidden in an innocuous cover. In this paper, a new image steganography technique 2L-DWTS is proposed. This technique, 2L-DWTS embeds secret message in the higher frequency components among the second level DWT components of the cover image.

DWT-based robust video fingerprinting

3rd European Workshop on Visual Information Processing, 2011
Video fingerprints are short features extracted from a video sequence in order to uniquely identify that visual content and its replicas. The present paper introduces a new DWT-based robust video fingerprinting method. In this respect, a characteristic set of wavelet coefficients is used as fingerprint.

Improving the DWT-LMS algorithm: boundary filter DWT matrix construction

Conference Record of The Twenty-Ninth Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2002
It has been shown that the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) domain least mean squares (LMS) algorithm increases the rate of convergence with low misadjustment noise and performs better than the discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain and unmodified LMS algorithms.

DWT-PCA based Video Watermarking

Journal of Electronics,Computer Networking and Applied Mathematics, 2022
Progressed watermarking video may be a methodology for embedding additional data another to video salute. Embedded data is utilized for proprietor copyright or recognizable affirmation. It added up to approach for watermarking is shown in this System, by utilizing Discrete Wavelet Alter (DWT) and Crucial Component Examination (PCA).

A comparative study between DWT-ANFIS and DWT-SVM in ECG classification

2016 IEEE Region 10 Conference (TENCON), 2016
Electrocardiogram (ECG) signal shows the different electrical activities of the heart. Since manual analysis is tedious and time-consuming, an offline automated ECG analysis and classification scheme is proposed in this study. Using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) as feature extraction, this comparative study focused on ECG classification between ...

The DWT Group Fingerprinting Scheme

2014 IEEE 12th International Conference on Dependable, Autonomic and Secure Computing, 2014
With the development of network and multimedia technique, the transfer of multimedia content becomes popular. The relations between distributors get hierarchical and diversified. As far as digital wholesale and retail are concerned, the traditional fingerprint which helps traitor tracing cannot achieve effective tracing of colluding middlemen ...

CBIR using Multi-level DWT

2019 IEEE International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Technologies (ICECCT), 2019
In the Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) technique requires features such as color, texture, shape and hybrid features. In this work texture based feature is used to retrieve the images from the database. In the first instance, intensity component is separated from the color image. DWT is applied on intensity matrix. Maximum valued coefficients from

Textures classification based on DWT

2018 28th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA), 2018
Nowadays classification of textures is very actual. Classification means separation of textures into classes. The main task of the classification is to find such a descriptor which is unique for the given class. This article deals with the classification based on energies distributed into DWT subimages.

Chevron's 78000-DWT Lightering Tankers

Marine Technology and SNAME News, 1990
Chevron operates two refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast, both of which receive imported crude oil by tanker. Very large crude carriers (VLCC's) load this crude overseas and transport it to international waters in the Gulf of Mexico. Here it is transferred at sea to smaller lightering vessels by ship-to-ship transfer. The lightering vessels must be small

Hybrid DWT-SVD audio watermarking

2010 Fifth International Conference on Digital Information Management (ICDIM), 2010
Audio watermarking is a relatively new technology that aims to embed copyright information in audio signals as a proof of their ownership. The driving force behind this technology has been the ever-increasing illegal manipulation of genuine audio products released by the music industry.
