Balanced dynamics in the Tropics
AbstractFor the shallow‐water equations on an equatorial beta plane, the properties of low‐frequency Rossby waves and (mixed) Rossby–gravity waves are investigated. It is shown that in the low‐frequency limit the horizontal divergence of these solutions is zero and their geopotential satisfies φ = fψ, where f = βy is the Coriolis parameter and ψ is the

The Effect of Balance Exercises on Static and Dynamic Balance of the Mentally Retarded Female Students [PDF]
Mentally retarded children have lower levels of physical fitness in comparison with normal children of the same age. As balance exercises can be a key to solve this problem, this study aimed at investigating the effect of balance exercises on static and ...

Effects of balance evaluation comparison of dynamic balance and Y balance [PDF]
This study measured balance ability using both an existing clinical test tool, the Y-balance test (YBT), and an automated version of the YBT named the dynamic balance test (DBT) developed in this study. Correlations between the two methods were examined to determine whether the DBT can be used as an objective tool for balance ability evaluation.

The Effects of 6 Weeks of Balance Training on Static and Dynamic Balance of Blind Students
Background and Purpose: Visual disturbance causes problems in the orientation, balance, and movement of individuals. It is especially important in children because this is a golden age for adoring physical exercises and physical function in these people.
