A Review of Failure Modes and Safety Strategies of Lithium‐Ion Batteries from Materials to Systems
A cascade‐aware framework is presented for lithium‐ion battery safety, linking thermal runaway initiation, acceleration, runaway reaction, and propagation with material‐, cell/pack‐, and system‐level interventions. By integrating failure mechanisms, quantitative safety indicators, and staged interception strategies, this review highlights how safer ...

Employing a digital single‐molecule activity tracker (dSMAT), this research demonstrates that high‐photon‐flux irradiation drives progressive oxidative scarring in polymerases. Unlike simple thermal denaturation, real‐time kinetic tracking dynamically visualizes enzymes degrading into multiple impaired subpopulations.

Dynamic clamp is an electrophysiological technique for introducing simulated electrical components into biological cells using a real-time closed loop between the cell and a computer or another electronic device. Classic dynamic clamp protocols build a voltage-dependent current injection cycle to implement artificial membrane or synaptic conductances ...

Dynamics of immersed clamped-clamped microresonators
2010 IEEE Sensors, 2010Micro- and nanomechanical resonators are used in a variety of sensing applications. We investigate the dynamics of clamped-clamped micromechanical string resonators immersed in viscous fluids. The resonators are driven using a magneto-motive technique and an optical lever is used to detect their motion.
