Some Dynamic Inequalities of Hilbert’s Type [PDF]
This paper is concerned with deriving some new dynamic Hilbert-type inequalities on time scales. The basic idea in proving the results is using some algebraic inequalities, Hölder’s inequality and Jensen’s inequality, on time scales. As a special case of

Inequality Interactions: The Dynamics of Multidimensional Inequalities [PDF]
ABSTRACTThis article offers a multidimensional, interdisciplinary and dynamic framework for understanding socio‐economic inequalities. It uses the tools of economic inequality measurement to demonstrate the link between interpersonal and categorical inequalities and to show the effect of progressive redistribution on both.

AbstractPublication of the Panama Papers helped shine a light on the hidden wealth of some of the world's most powerful individuals, putting rising inequality back on the political agenda. But we should not be surprised when inequality increases, say Alexander Adamou and Ole Peters.

Wage inequality dynamics in Turkey
This study aims to examine the evolution of wage inequality in Turkey between 2002 and 2019 using household labor force surveys. We find a significant decline in wage inequalityover the period analyzed, which can be explained by a combination of (i) minimumwage adjustments (2004 and 2016), (ii) a stable aggregate demand curve, (iii ...

The dynamics of regional inequalities [PDF]
Abstract This paper analyses the link between regional inequalities and GDP per capita at the country-level. Our starting hypothesis is that the evolution of regional inequalities should follow a bell-shaped curve as national GDP per capita rises since growth by its very nature is unlikely to appear everywhere at the same time, as has been argued by ...

Recently, various forms and improvements of Opial dynamic inequalities have been given in the literature. In this paper, we give refinements of Opial inequalities on time scales that reduce in the continuous case to classical inequalities named after Beesack and Shum. These refinements are new in the important discrete case.

Fiscal policy, growth and income distribution in the UK [PDF]
Income and income inequality increased substantially in the UK during the industrial revolution. Income inequality was the highest around 1880. This triggered enactments of more egalitarian tax and transfer system, which halved income inequality by the ...

Dynamical inequality in growth models [PDF]
A recent exponent inequality is applied to a number of dynamical growth models. Many of the known exponents for models such as the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) equation are shown to be consistent with the inequality. In some cases, such as the Molecular Beam Equation, the situation is more interesting, where the exponents saturate the inequality.
