Dynamic interfacial tension minima in finite systems
Chemical Engineering Science, 1980Abstract A physical model is presented to explain the dramatic interfacial tension minima that may sometimes occur during the equilibration of a surface-active solute between two liquid phases. The effects of bulk phase mass transfer resistances, interfacial sorption kinetics, and finite phase volumes are included.

Langmuir, 2016Varied interfacial tension caused by the unsaturated adsorption of surfactants on dripping droplet surfaces is experimentally studied. The mass transfer and adsorption of surfactants, as well as the generation of fresh interfaces, are considered the main factors dominating the surfactant adsorption ratio on droplet surfaces.
