Upsampling dynamic contrast enhanced MRI

2015 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI), 2015
Dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) is used to evaluate the vasculature properties of tissues. The resolution of DCE-MRI is limited since the imaging is required to be rapid in order to achieve a reasonable temporal resolution.

Dynamic susceptibility contrast MRI of gliomas

Neuroimaging Clinics of North America, 2002
Dynamic susceptibility contrast imaging has proven to be useful in brain tumor studies, and it provides additional information on tumor characteristics based on the microvascular structure of gliomas. The cerebral blood volume maps can be used to noninvasively grade gliomas, to determine optimal biopsy sites, to separate radiation necrosis from tumor ...

Dynamic imaging of speech and swallowing with MRI

2009 Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2009
Dynamic imaging with MRI holds great promise for visualizing soft tissue structures in the oropharyngeal region during speech and swallowing studies. However, MRI suffers from historically slow acquisition speed and sensitivity to significant magnetic susceptibility differences in this region.

Real Time Dynamic MRI with Dynamic Total Variation

2014
In this study, we propose a novel scheme for real time dynamic magnetic resonance imaging (dMRI) reconstruction. Different from previous methods, the reconstructions of the second frame to the last frame are independent in our scheme, which only require the first frame as the reference.

Chordomas of the Skull Base: Dynamic MRI

Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, 1996
To investigate the role of dynamic MRI in the diagnosis of chordomas at the skull base.Six patients with surgically proven chordomas of the skull base were examined with spin-echo technique (repetition time/echo time 200 ms/15 ms). Serial imaging was performed every 30 s for 240 s after a rapid injection of gadopenetate dimeglumine (0.1 mmol/kg).

Dynamic pelvic MRI

Imaging, 2001
MRI is increasingly being used to image global pelvic floor dynamics and may be a convenient and viable alternative to cystoproctography in some instances.Dynamic pelvic MRI is especially useful for imaging cystocoele and gynaecological prolapse, which can be simply and rapidly achieved.More detailed examinations are possible but there is a ...

Dynamic MRI of the Spine

2010
Spinal imaging is one of the most important diagnostic tools for assessing spine pathologies. The advent of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allowed much more detailed evaluation of musculoskeletal injuries including the spine. However, because of the structural limitations of MRI equipment, patient scanning has been limited to supine or prone ...

Prostate cancer detection in dynamic MRIs

2015 IEEE International Conference on Digital Signal Processing (DSP), 2015
In Taiwan, occurrence rate of prostate cancer has been going up over the past few decades. In order to help urologists to detect prostate cancer, a prostate cancer detection system in dynamic MRIs is proposed in this paper. Dynamic MRIs are commonly used for auxiliary tool in clinical study and helpful for diagnosing prostate cancer.

Coccygeal movement: Assessment with dynamic MRI

European Journal of Radiology, 2007
Chronic coccygodynia is a difficult problem diagnostically and therapeutically. Moreover, there is no deep knowledge especially in the field of imaging of chronic coccygodynia. In this study several possible measurements are proposed, which all are able to demonstrate coccygeal movement during defecation, in order to assess coccygeal mobility using ...

Dynamic MRI of Small Electrical Activity

2008
Neuroscience methods entailing in vivo measurements of brain activity have greatly contributed to our understanding of brain function for the past decades, from the invasive early studies in animals using single-cell electrical recordings, to the noninvasive techniques in humans of scalp-recorded electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (
