Multislice Dynamic MRI of Hepatic Tumors

Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, 1993
Breath-hold multislice dynamic MRI was used to diagnose 115 hepatic tumors in 55 patients. With this technique 10 slice-section images were made during a single breath-hold, achieving nearly complete liver coverage. Early enhancement images were obtained 20 s after intravenous bolus injection of gadopentetate dimeglumine.

Pelvic prolapse: static and dynamic MRI

Abdominal Imaging, 2006
Pelvic magnetic resonance is a simple and non-invasive imaging technique for dynamic and static assessment of the pelvic floor. The morphology of the support system is assessed by T2-weighted images. Dynamic sequences are used to assess pelvic prolapse.

Applications of similarity mapping in dynamic MRI

IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, 1995
Dynamic images are temporal sequences of images, where the intensities of certain regions of interest (ROI's) change with time, whereas anatomical structures remain stationary. Here, new applications of dynamic image analysis, called similarity mapping, are reviewed.

BOLD Dynamic Model of Functional MRI

2007
Blood oxygenation level dependent (BOLD)contrast based functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)can be used to detect brain neural activities. In this paper, a new procedure is presented which allows the estimation of the hemodynamic approach from BOLD responses.

Dynamic KINE‐MRI in patellofemoral instability in adolescents

Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, 2013
AbstractPurposeThe impact of kinematic MRI (KINE‐MRI) in the patellofemoral instability and anterior knee pain of the adolescents is rarely reported. Our special interest was to evaluate the patellofemoral joint biomechanics with KINE‐MRI in adolescents with affected and unaffected knees in a case–control study.MethodsKINE‐MRI was performed in 29 ...

Dynamic MRI Reconstruction

2015
So far we have been studying static MRI reconstruction. We were interested in the structure and anatomy of the cross section. In dynamic MRI, our interest is to study changing behavior – we study motion like blood flow, heartbeat, and changes in concentration like BOLD (blood oxygen level-dependent) signals. If we use a simile from digital photography –

Analysis of dynamic contrast enhanced MRI

The British Journal of Radiology, 2004
The advances in MRI image acquisition have led to the increasing use of parametric or calculated images, which are designed to display physiological features of tissues rather than simply anatomical structure. One common type of dynamic imaging data is produced when rapidly repeated sequential imaging sequences are performed during injection of an ...

Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced (DCE) MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Clinics of North America
The non-invasive dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) method provides valuable insights into tissue perfusion and vascularity. Primarily used in oncology, DCE-MRI is typically utilized to assess morphology and contrast agent (CA) kinetics in the tissue of interest.

A Parallel Software for the Reconstruction of Dynamic MRI Sequences

2003
In this paper we present a parallel version of an existing Matlab software for dynamic Magnetic Resonance Imaging which implements a reconstruction technique based on B-spline Reduced-encoding Imaging by Generalized series Reconstruction. The parallel primitives used are provided by MatlabMPI.
