Dynamic Priority Based Message Scheduling on Controller Area Network
2007 International Conference on Electrical Engineering, 2007Controller area network (CAN) is a serial communication protocol developed in early 1980's by Robert Bosch. Low cost, ease of use and ability to work in harsh EMI environments have resulted in its widespread acceptance in automotive and automation industry.

Modeling and analysis of deadlock driven dynamic priority scheduling
2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013), 2013Specifying and designing Real Time Software Systems (RTSS) is a complex matter, because it requires logical correctness as well as timing correctness. Unified Modeling Language (UML), the standard visual object-oriented modeling language, is suitable to deal with this complexity.

Dynamic scheduler based priority switching in power quality applications
2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology, 2011The application of embedded system solutions to power quality systems are based on unique algorithm which take maximum amount of time and CPU utilization of an embedded processor. Most of such applications go for DSP processors however some might like to take up advantages of simple hardware design based on digital signal controllers or 32-bit ...

Scheduling of hard-aperiodic requests in dynamic priority systems
Proceedings of 3rd International Workshop on Real-Time Computing Systems and Applications, 2002In this paper, we discuss the problem of jointly scheduling both hard deadline of periodic and aperiodic tasks in dynamic priority systems. The proposed scheduling scheme has extended the APS (Alternative Priority Scheduling) algorithm which is developed by the authors.

Dynamic Priority Packet Scheduler with Deadline Considerations (DPD)
2010Providing quality of service (QoS) to applications with different traffic characteristics based on their needs is an important research area for today's and tomorrow's high speed networks. Various techniques have been proposed to achieve good QoS for diverse application types. Among these techniques packet scheduling algorithms decide on how to process
