A Specific Sliding Mode Control for Autopilot Design of Bank-to-Turn Missiles

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
This paper studies the BTT missile's sliding mode flight controller. Firstly, the control model is established according to dynamic inverse method and the general dynamic equation of the missile flying in the atmosphere. Then, the sliding mode controller

Anchorage‐independent and faster growth in clonal population from UV‐irradiated NER‐deficient cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UV‐irradiated cells expressing a DDB2 mutant protein unable to interact with PCNA (DDB2PCNA‐) form clones able to grow without anchorage. Different experimental approaches reveal heterogeneity in cell cycle regulation and drug response within these clones, emphasizing the crucial role of the DDB2‐PCNA interaction in preventing cellular transformation ...

Quasi-continuous higher-order sliding-mode controllers for spacecraft-attitude-tracking manoeuvres [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper studies higher order sliding-modecontrol laws to deal with some spacecraft-attitude-tracking problems. Quasi-continuous second- and third-order sliding controllers and differentiators are applied to quaternion-based spacecraftattitude ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Robust Tracking of Bio-Inspired References for a Biped Robot Using Geometric Algebra and Sliding Modes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Controlling walking biped robots is a challenging problem due to its complex and uncertain dynamics. In order to tackle this, we propose a sliding mode controller based on a dynamic model which was obtained using the conformal geometric algebra ...

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Dynamic Fractional Order Sliding Mode Control Method of Micro Gyroscope Using Double Feedback Fuzzy Neural Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, a dynamic fractional order sliding mode control method based on a double feedback fuzzy neural network controller is proposed to deal with the unknown parameters and upper bound of uncertainty.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.
