Dynamic Spectrum Allocation Method of Shortwave Radio Access Network Based on Graph Coloring Theory [PDF]
Aiming at the problem that the existing fixed spectrum allocation method of shortwave radio access network can not satisfy the new requirement of applying intelligent frequency hopping technology, the spectrum demand of shortwave radio access network ...

A Low-Overhead Energy Detection Based Cooperative Sensing Protocol for Cognitive Radio Systems
Cognitive radio and dynamic spectrum access represent a new paradigm shift in more effective use of limited radio spectrum. One core component behind dynamic spectrum access is the sensing of primary user activity in the shared spectrum.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Adaptive Channel Recommendation For Opportunistic Spectrum Access [PDF]
We propose a dynamic spectrum access scheme where secondary users recommend "good" channels to each other and access accordingly. We formulate the problem as an average reward based Markov decision process. We show the existence of the optimal stationary

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
