Model‐Based Time‐Modulated Write Algorithm for 1R Analog Memristive Crossbar Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A novel model‐based time‐modulated write algorithm efficiently programs analog 1R memristive crossbar arrays by varying pulse duration at a fixed voltage. By leveraging a physics‐based compact model and a dynamic gain mechanism, this approach overcomes device nonlinearities and parasitic effects.

Strategy for diagnosing the degree of dynamic stall on a vertical-axis wind turbine blade

open access: yes
Vertical axis wind turbines boast several advantages over their horizontal counterparts. Their development and large-scale installation has been limited due to their inherent aerodynamic complexity and in particular due to the occurrence of dynamic stall.

Design of a Rotor Blade Tip for the Investigation of Dynamic Stall in the Transonic Wind-Tunnel Göttingen

open access: yes, 2016
The aerodynamic and structural design of a pitching blade tip with a double-swept planform is presented. The authors demonstrate how high-fidelity finite element (FE) and computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations are successfully used in the design ...

Farmers’ Protests in Germany: Media Coverage and Types of Bias

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The German farmers’ protests of 2024 sparked widespread media coverage and public debate. Yet, media coverage was not always positive, reflecting the media's attention‐seeking and selective focus. Occurrences of farmers blocking media outlets reflected distrust in how their concerns were portrayed.

Exploring the Impact of Meat Alternative Labeling Regulations on the U.S. Meat Consumption Patterns

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The global demand for conventional meat continues to rise, but it is also associated with substantial environmental and health challenges. In response, meat alternatives have gained popularity, sparking debates over meat alternative labeling regulations. This study investigates the effects of meat alternative labeling regulations in the United

Dynamic stall modeling of a wind turbine airfoil at various stall-induced vibration zones

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
The present work entails investigation of the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of a wind turbine airfoil operating in four stall-induced vibration (SIV) regimes, including normal (SIV-1) and reverse (SIV-2) flow conditions. We conducted computational

Not All Agreements Are Equal: Heterogeneous Effects of RTAs on Latin American Agri‐Food Exports, 1990–2019

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Since the final decade of the 20th century, Latin American countries have increasingly regarded the signing of regional trade agreements (RTAs) as a promising strategy for expanding their exports. Within this context, the main objective of this study is to assess the impact of RTAs on agri‐food exports in Latin America over the period 1990 ...

Consumer Demand and Market Response to Added Sugar Labeling: Evidence From the Updated Nutrition Facts Panel

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper examines how mandatory disclosure of added sugar content on the updated U.S. Nutrition Facts Panel (NFP) affects consumer demand and market outcomes. Using NielsenIQ Retail Scanner Data (2015–2020) and a random coefficient discrete choice model, we estimate how added sugar labeling influences purchasing behavior in yogurt and cookie
