Mechanisms of types B and C serrations in the tensile flow curve of C-bearing high Mn steel
In the present study, the mechanisms of types B and C serrations in the tensile curves of C-bearing high Mn steel were investigated. Many tensile tests were performed at various temperatures (313–573 K) with two different initial strain rates (ε˙ini = 1 ×

Unveiling the Mechanisms of High-Temperature 1/2[111] Screw Dislocation Glide in Iron–Carbon Alloys
We have developed a self-consistent model for predicting the velocity of 1/2[111] screw dislocation in binary iron–carbon alloys gliding by a high-temperature Peierls mechanism.

Conditions for development dynamic strain steel ageing
Contrary to the one-sided straining, after compressive predeformation with subsequent tension the shift of appearing the first stress stall to higher values of strains can be observed. The values of compressive predeformation and the strain of first stress stall appearance are approximately equal.

A quantitative insight into strain hardening behavior of typical Hadfield steel under dynamic load
In this paper, the critical threshold associated to the activating of strain hardening capacity with respect to typical Hadfield steel Mn13Cr2 was explored quantitatively utilizing a Separated Hopkinson Press Bar (SHPB).
