Substantiation of Rational Design of Crank Mechanism of a Wheel-Step Mover

open access: yesМеханика машин, механизмов и материалов
The article substantiates the rational design of the crank mechanism of a wheel-step mover. Kinematics analysis of a prototype of the wheel-step mover revealed the presence of oscillations in the vertical coordinate of the central axis during movement ...

The Dynamic Response Analysis of Elastic Slider-Crank Mechanisms.

open access: yesTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series C, 1992
A numerical analysis method is developed to investigate the dynamic response of elastic slider-crank mechanism systems. The equation of motion was obtained by means of the finite-element technique, including the nonlinear effects of a centrifugal force and an axial force.

Modeling of Dynamics of Nonideal Mixer at Oscillation and Aperiodic Damped Mode of Driving Member Motion

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The dynamics of the vibrational mode of motion of the driving member of a nonideal system, a mixing–whipping device based on a simple slide-crank mechanism, was studied. The highly nonlinear differential equations of motion were solved numerically by the

Photo‐Reconfigurable Supercoupling Induced Transparency in On‐Chip Topological Edge State Cavities

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A novel supercoupling induced transparency (SIT) is demonstrated in a valley‐Hall photonic crystal. The valley vortices enable the supercoupling between a leaky and a guided topological edge state cavity even across a distance of 4.3 wavelengths, inducing a transparency window with negligible reflection.

Atomically Resolved Acoustic Dynamics Coupled with Magnetic Order in a Van der Waals Antiferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetically coupled acoustic phonon modes (f1, f2, f3) are captured by ultrafast X‐ray diffraction in a prototypical van der Waals antiferromagnet FePS3, including their atomic displacement vectors (u) and the acoustic propagation wave vectors (k). Notably, the atomic displacement vector and amplitude of these modes, represented by the direction and ...
