Sisters With Low Birth Weight, Dwarfism, Congenital Anomalies, and Dysgammaglobulinemia
Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, 1971Two sisters had low birth weight dwarfism, psychomotor retardation, and congenital anomalies including hyperextensible joints, brachydactyly, clinodactyly, low total ridge counts, bilateral simian creases, and calcaneovalgus foot deformities. In addition, both girls had repeated bacterial infections and elevated serum IgA levels.

Inherited dysgammaglobulinemia of chickens: Reduced incidence of disease in parabiotic chimeras
Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology, 1985University of California, Davis (UCD) line 140 chickens develop a dysgammaglobulinemia characterized as selective 7S immunoglobulin (Ig) deficiency with elevated serum IgM levels. To study the role of bursal development on the expression of dysgammaglobulinemia in these birds, we examined the effect of bursacyte transfer to line 140 birds and ...

Transfusion, 1973
Evaluation of patients with recurrent sinopulmonary infections and dyscrasias of immunoglobulin production, particularly of IgA, disclosed the presence of antibodies to IgA, cow's milk, bovidae proteins, and tissue antigens. These antibodies may have clinical significance as indicators of those individuals susceptible to diseases whose etiology may be ...

IgM cryoprecipitation and anti-immunoglobulin activity in dysgammaglobulinemia type I
Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology, 1982Abstract Study of three siblings with dysgammaglobulinemia Type I, characterized by increased serum IgM and IgD, absent or low serum IgG and IgA, and increased numbers of IgM-containing plasmacytoid cells in peripheral blood, revealed several unusual serologic abnormalities in each patient: increased levels of monomer IgM; IgM with antibody-like ...
