Water resources, energy, and food are fundamental resources for high-quality regional development. In the process of rapid regional economic growth, integrating the utilization of these fundamental resources has become a critical challenge for achieving ...

Rare observations of sprites and gravity waves supporting D, E, F-regions ionospheric coupling
We report rare simultaneous observations of columniform sprites and associated gravity waves (GWs) using the Transient Luminous Events (TLEs) camera and All-sky imager at Prayagraj (25.5° N, 81.9° E, geomag. lat. ~ 16.5° N), India.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Against the background of increasingly stringent resource and environmental constraints, the coupling among water, land, energy, food, and carbon emissions has continued to intensify, and the multi-element system has become highly complex.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Free energy on the sphere for non-abelian gauge theories
We compute the S d partition function of the fixed point of non-abelian gauge theories in continuous d, using the ϵ-expansion around d = 4. We illustrate in detail the technical aspects of the calculation, including all the factors arising from the gauge-

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Light-activated modulation and coupling in integrated polymer-liquid crystal systems [PDF]
We explore the transfer of an incident light pattern onto the liquid crystal (LC) bulk in a photorefractive cell through an integrated photoconducting layer that modulates the electric field applied to the device.

A limit for large R-charge correlators in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 theories
Using supersymmetric localization, we study the sector of chiral primary operators (Tr ϕ 2) n with large R-charge 4n in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 four-dimensional superconformal theories in the weak coupling regime g → 0, where λ ≡ g 2 n is kept fixed as n

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
