Doping dependence and electron–boson coupling in the ultrafast relaxation of hot electron populations in Ba(Fe1–xCox)2As2

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2016
Using femtosecond time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy we investigate the effect of electron doping on the electron dynamics in $\mathrm{Ba}{({\mathrm{Fe}}_{1-x}{\mathrm{Co}}_{x})}_{2}{\mathrm{As}}_{2}$ in a range of $0\leqslant x\lt 0.15$

Digital Implementation Issues on High Speed Permanent Magnet Machine FOC Drive Under Insufficient Sample Frequency

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper investigates digital implementation issues on high-speed permanent magnet (PM) machine drives. The machine operating speed is designed beyond 30krpm where the ratio of controller sample frequency over rotor fsample operating frequency fe is ...

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Coupling time distribution asymptotics for some couplings of the Lévy stochastic area [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We exhibit some explicit co-adapted couplings for n-dimensional Brownian motion and all its Lévy stochastic areas. In the two-dimensional case we show how to derive exact asymptotics for the coupling time under various mixed coupling strategies, using

Nondestructive characterization of fiber couplers by a local perturbation method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A technique for the nondestructive characterization of fiber couplers is demonstrated. A CO2 laser beam is scanned along the coupler length inducing a local perturbation to the coupler eigenmodes.

The coupling integrable couplings of the generalized coupled Burgers equation hierarchy and its Hamiltonian structure

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
In this paper, we mainly give the Lie algebras E, F and H of three kinds and their commutator, respectively. Next, we establish three isospectral problems with the help of their corresponding loop algebras Ẽ, F̃, and H̃.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Solar activity dependence for the relationship between nighttime medium-scale traveling ionospheric disturbance and sporadic E (Es) layer activities in summer during 1998–2019 over Japan

open access: yesEarth, Planets and Space
To investigate solar activity dependence of the coupling between medium-scale traveling ionosphere disturbance (MSTID) and sporadic E (Es) layer, we analyzed the total electron content (TEC) obtained from a Japanese global positioning system (GPS ...

Reconstructing inflation in scalar-torsion $$f(T,\phi )$$ f ( T , ϕ ) gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
It is investigated the reconstruction during the slow-roll inflation in the most general class of scalar-torsion theories whose Lagrangian density is an arbitrary function $$f(T,\phi )$$ f ( T , ϕ ) of the torsion scalar T of teleparallel gravity and the

The pyruvate generator is a common phenomenon in mitochondria from different rat and mouse brain regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The pyruvate generator, which causes activation of respiration by extra‐mitochondrial Ca2+, is also present and functional in rat brainstem mitochondria, as it is in other brain regions. This finding is confirmed by experiments with a fully reconstituted malate–aspartate shuttle (MAS).
