E-nose identification ofSalmonella entericain poultry manure
A DiagNose II electronic nose (e-nose) system was tested to evaluate the performance of such systems in the detection of the Salmonella enterica pathogen in poultry manure. To build a database, poultry manure samples were collected from 7 broiler houses, samples were homogenised, and subdivided into 4 portions.

The cellular actors of oxytocin signaling are under intense scrutiny. A brain‐wide anatomical and functional analysis in mice and rats reveals widespread expression of oxytocin receptors in astrocytes. These receptors are functionally active and, in the nucleus accumbens, selectively regulate male social affiliation.

Advances in Odour Monitoring with E-Noses in the Port of Rotterdam
In the heavily industrialized and densely populated Port of Rotterdam odour nuisance is the second largest reason for complaints. The DCMR EPA has a control room that is manned 24 hours, 7 days per week. It receives on a yearly basis about 5,000-6,000 odour complaints of residents.

Bone cancer pain and depression share a common origin: astrocytic A2‐to‐A1 transition in the posterior piriform cortex. This phenotypic shift disrupts the ATP–adenosine–A2AR–norepinephrine axis, simultaneously driving nociceptive and affective dysfunction.
