The Reappearance of Anomalous Cosmic Ray Hydrogen [PDF]
New observations from the Cosmic Ray Subsystem (CRS) on the Voyager spacecraft clearly show that anomalous cosmic ray hydrogen has reappeared, clearing up a controversy that has existed since the previous solar minimum [l, 2]. The new observations are

Quantifying Protein–Glycan Interactions Using Native Mass Spectrometry
ABSTRACT Interactions between glycan‐binding proteins (GBPs) and carbohydrates (glycans) are essential to many biological processes relevant to human health and disease. For most GBPs, however, their glycan interactome—the repertoire of glycans recognized and their specificities—is poorly defined.

The anomalous cosmic-ray component [PDF]
This brief report is intended to update the anomalous component section of the summary report of the galactic cosmic-ray working group (Mewaldt et al., 1987), which was drafted at the March 1987 Workshop on the Interplanetary Charged Particle Environment

Advancements in Mass Spectrometry‐Based Glycomics in Food and Nutritional Science
ABSTRACT This review highlights advancements in mass spectrometry (MS)‐based glycomics in food and nutritional science. Carbohydrates, which are vital for human health, exhibit complex structures, making their analysis challenging. MS has become an indispensable tool for elucidating the structures of carbohydrates, including glycans, through soft ...

Inferring Energetic Particle Mean Free Paths from Observations of Anomalous Cosmic Rays in the Outer Heliosphere at Solar Maximum [PDF]
We find that the mean free pathlength is higher by a factor of 10 or more at solar minimum than at the last solar maximum in 1900-1991, consistent with previous findings.

ABSTRACT Purpose Quantitative mapping of cardiac tissue properties is used clinically in diagnosis and monitoring of a wide variety of cardiac pathologies. Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (cMRF) enables rapid and simultaneous quantification of multiple parameters in the myocardium from a single scan.

The Effect of a Simple Throat Distortion on the Downstream Flow in a Hypersonic Wind Tunnel Nozzle [PDF]
An experimental investigation was conducted in the GALCIT 2 1/2" Supersonic Wind Tunnel to determine the effect of a known distortion of the throat section of a hyper sonic nozzle on the flow in the region downstream from the throat.

The early X-ray afterglows of optically bright and dark Gamma-Ray Bursts
A systematical study on the early X-ray afterglows of both optically bright and dark gamma-ray bursts (B-GRBs and D-GRBs) observed by Swift has been presented. Our sample includes 25 GRBs. Among them 13 are B-GRBs and 12 are D-GRBs. Our results show that
