FastCat: Autonomous Discovery of Multielement Layered Double Hydroxide Alloy Catalysts for Alkaline Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
A machine learning‐guided self‐driving laboratory screened over 500 nickel‐based layered double‐hydroxide catalysts for alkaline oxygen evolution. Out of the eight metals, the robot uncovered a quaternary Ni–Fe–Cr–Co catalysts requiring only 231 mV overpotential to reach 20 mA cm−2.

Resilience Bounds of Sensing-Based Network Clock Synchronization

open access: yes, 2018
Recent studies exploited external periodic synchronous signals to synchronize a pair of network nodes to address a threat of delaying the communications between the nodes.

On the energy-shell contributions of the three-particle~-~ three-hole excitations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
The response functions for the extended second and third random phase approximation are compared. A second order perturbation calculation shows that the first-order amplitude for the direct $3p3h$ excitation from the ground state cancels with those that ...

Lymphatic Abnormalities in Noonan Syndrome Extend Beyond Clinically Apparent Disease

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Lymphatic disease represents a well‐described manifestation of Noonan syndrome (NS), yet the full phenotypic spectrum remains incompletely characterized, especially in asymptomatic individuals. We conducted a cross‐sectional study including 10 individuals with NS (four with peripheral lymphedema and six without) and 10 age‐ and sex‐matched ...

Time Course Transcriptome Analysis of Spina Bifida Progression in Fetal Rats

open access: yesBrain Sciences, 2021
A better understanding of the transcriptomic modifications that occur in spina bifida may lead to identify mechanisms involved in the progression of spina bifida in utero and the development of new therapeutic strategies that aid in spinal cord ...

Developmental Characteristics of the Embryonic Liver Tissue and Long‐Term Culture of Primary Hepatocytes in Duck

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Liver development was investigated at different embryonic ages (EAs). Furthermore, numerous hepatocyte media were formulated and evaluated. These results could elaborate the developmental characteristics of duck liver tissue and determine the most suitable medium for the proliferation and characteristic maintenance of hepatocytes in vitro, which would ...

Wave Function Structure in Two-Body Random Matrix Ensembles

open access: yes, 1999
We study the structure of eigenstates in two-body interaction random matrix ensembles and find significant deviations from random matrix theory expectations. The deviations are most prominent in the tails of the spectral density and indicate localization
