Whole‐House Thermal Bridge Modelling for Accurate Retrofit Energy Prediction
Energy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.This study models thermal bridging in a UK semi‐detached house across pre‐ and post‐retrofit scenarios using piecemeal and whole‐house approaches with EWI and IWI. Whole‐house retrofits reduce heat transfer coefficient by 60%; findings demonstrate that default values are often unrepresentative and advocate tailored Ψ value databases.
