Phylogeny, Synteny, and Distribution of Type III Secretion Systems in Burkholderia cenocepacia: A Closer Look Into Host Span. [PDF]

open access: yesMicrobiologyopen
T3SS is a dedicated machinery that mediates interactions between bacteria and eukaryotic cells, providing a functional interface in pathogenic or symbiotic associations. Phylogenetic analyses and T3SS‐gene synteny revealed nine gene clusters, with no needle protein gene (sctF). However, an orphan CDS encoding a putative SctF was found.

Gender dimensions of the migration, sustainability and care nexus: The case study of the Mahanadi delta, India

open access: yesCurrent Research in Environmental Sustainability, 2022
Migration and environmental change are deeply interconnected processes, intimately linked to development pathways. The gender dimension of these complex interactions is often overlooked. Yet there are profound linkages and implications.

Experimental test of nonlocal realistic theories without the rotational symmetry assumption [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We analyze the class of nonlocal realistic theories that was originally considered by Leggett [Found. Phys. 33, 1469 (2003)] and tested by us in a recent experiment [Nature (London) 446, 871 (2007)].

Determination of new coefficients in the angular momentum and energy fluxes at infinity to 9PN for eccentric Schwarzschild extreme-mass-ratio inspirals using mode-by-mode fitting [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
We present an extension of work in an earlier paper showing high precision comparisons between black hole perturbation theory and post-Newtonian (PN) theory in their region of overlapping validity for bound, eccentric-orbit, Schwarzschild extreme-mass ...

Closed G$_2$-structures on non-solvable Lie groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We investigate the existence of left-invariant closed G$_2$-structures on seven-dimensional non-solvable Lie groups, providing the first examples of this type. When the Lie algebra has trivial Levi decomposition, we show that such a structure exists only

Ramanujan and coefficients of meromorphic modular forms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The study of Fourier coefficients of meromorphic modular forms dates back to Ramanujan, who, together with Hardy, studied the reciprocal of the weight 6 Eisenstein series. Ramanujan conjectured a number of further identities for other meromorphic modular

Invariant solutions to the Strominger system and the heterotic equations of motion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We construct many new invariant solutions to the Strominger system with respect to a 2-parameter family of metric connections $\nabla^{\varepsilon,\rho}$ in the anomaly cancellation equation.

Hubbard Hamiltonian in the dimer representation. Large U limit [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We formulate the Hubbard model for the simple cubic lattice in the representation of interacting dimers applying the exact solution of the dimer problem.
