The Composite Antiadhesion Barrier Facilitated Fibroblast Autophagy Activation for Tendon Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 41, November 6, 2025.
Synthesis of an innovative three‐layer composite antiadhesion barrier (plasmid DNA@E–H–E′) is schematically illustrated, highlighting its reactive‐oxygen‐species‐responsive, unidirectional interleukin‐37 delivery to enhance fibroblast autophagy, thereby effectively preventing tendon adhesion and promoting scarless tendon repair.

Influence of Hydraulic Conductivity Conceptualization and Unsaturated Flow Parameters for an Integrated Hydrological Model

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 61, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract In recent decades, integrated hydrologic models (IHMs) have advanced our understanding of hydrologic processes across catchment to continental scales. These models couple surface and variably saturated subsurface flow, incorporating land surface models to represent interactions within the critical zone. However, high computational costs hinder

Gauging Public Interest in Pediatric Ophthalmology Conditions Using Google Trends

open access: yes
Google Trends data were analyzed to assess search trends for pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus terms from 2010 to 2022. The highest average search volumes were “lazy eye,” “strabismus,” and “vision therapy.” “Amblyopia” had the lowest search volume.

Experiment E42

open access: yes, 2021
Indentation simulations, where microspheres are pressed into layers of statically cross-linked actin networks. In contrast to dynamic cross-links in E41, the static cross-links used here are fixed, they can not bind or unbind.

CBDC and Trust in A Central Bank: Transitivity Of Preferences Vs. The Privacy Paradox

open access: yesFinancial Internet Quarterly
The privacy and anonymity of transactions are considered some of the biggest challenges when designing Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). While many surveys show that people strongly prefer privacy in their transactions, behavioral theories suggest ...

The first two years of the EMS: the exchange-rate experience. A comment

open access: yesPSL Quarterly Review, 2013
In this brief note, the author argues that the emphasis on fixed nominal exchange rates inside the EMS creates severe distortions as long as inflation rates are not converging.

Optimization of the HypTPC field cage for E42/E45 experiments at J-PARC

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series, 2014
Computations of electric field and the electron drift volume of the HypTPC for E42 experiment have been accomplished with FEM and Garfield software. The double side strips field cage with shielding flange has been developed. The advantage of application a Kapton based field cage with mirror strips has been proved.

Quantitative System Risk Assessment From Incomplete Data With Belief Networks and Pairwise Comparison Elicitation

open access: yesRisk Analysis, Volume 45, Issue 11, Page 4014-4038, November 2025.
ABSTRACT A method for conducting Bayesian elicitation and learning in risk assessment is presented. It assumes that the risk process can be described as a fault tree. This is viewed as a belief network, for which prior distributions on primary event probabilities are elicited by means of a pairwise comparison approach.

Appropriate Management of Thrombotic Risk in Patients With Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia in the UK: A Modified Delphi Consensus

open access: yeseJHaem, Volume 6, Issue 5, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Introduction Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is characterised by a low platelet count and increased risk of bleeding. Recent research has also proposed that having ITP increases thrombosis risk. Moreover, certain ITP treatments have been associated with an increased risk of thrombosis.
