Quantum Isometries of the finite noncommutative geometry of the Standard Model
We compute the quantum isometry group of the finite noncommutative geometry F describing the internal degrees of freedom in the Standard Model of particle physics. We show that this provides genuine quantum symmetries of the spectral triple corresponding

Flexible Mixture Priors for Large Time-varying Parameter Models [PDF]
Time-varying parameter (TVP) models often assume that the TVPs evolve according to a random walk. This assumption, however, might be questionable since it implies that coefficients change smoothly and in an unbounded manner. In this paper, we relax this assumption by proposing a flexible law of motion for the TVPs in large-scale vector autoregressions (

Early Caregiver Predictability Shapes Neural Indices of Statistical Learning Later in Infancy
ABSTRACT Caregivers play an outsized role in shaping early life experiences and development, but we often lack mechanistic insight into how exactly caregiver behavior scaffolds the neurodevelopment of specific learning processes. Here, we capitalized on the fact that caregivers differ in how predictable their behavior is to ask if infants’ early ...

Infinite Families of Gauge-Equivalent $R$-Matrices and Gradations of Quantized Affine Algebras
Associated with the fundamental representation of a quantum algebra such as $U_q(A_1)$ or $U_q(A_2)$, there exist infinitely many gauge-equivalent $R$-matrices with different spectral-parameter dependences.

Realizations of Real Low-Dimensional Lie Algebras [PDF]
Using a new powerful technique based on the notion of megaideal, we construct a complete set of inequivalent realizations of real Lie algebras of dimension no greater than four in vector fields on a space of an arbitrary (finite) number of variables. Our

Bounds for twisted symmetric square $L$-functions via half-integral weight periods [PDF]
We establish the first moment bound $$ \sum_{\varphi} L(\varphi \otimes \varphi \otimes \Psi, \tfrac{1}{2}) \ll_{\varepsilon} p^{5/4+\varepsilon} $$ for triple product $L$-functions, where $\Psi$ is a fixed Hecke-Maass form on $\operatorname{SL}_2(\mathbb{Z})$ and $\varphi$ runs over the Hecke-Maass newforms on $\Gamma_0(p)$ of bounded eigenvalue.

A Jordanian deformation of AdS space in type IIB supergravity
We consider a Jordanian deformation of the AdS_5xS^5 superstring action by taking a simple R-operator which satisfies the classical Yang-Baxter equation. The metric and NS-NS two-form are explicitly derived with a coordinate system.

Optimal lender of last resort policy in different financial systems [PDF]
In a framework closely related to Diamond and Rajan (2001) we characterize different financial systems and analyze the welfare implications of different LOLR-policies in these financial systems.

Preliminary analysis of an extreme helium sdO star: BD+25 4655 [PDF]
Preliminary analysis of CCD spectra obtained by the 6m SAO telescope is presented. We have used simple H-He NLTE model atmospheres computed by TLUSTY to derive the basic parameters of the star.

The generalized likelihood uncertainty estimation (GLUE) method is widely used in many engineering applications due to its ease of implementation. Nevertheless, it has several drawbacks due to the subjectivity inherent in the statistically informal likelihood function, the cutoff threshold for identifying the behavioral solutions, and the probability ...
