The Evolution of Early Type Galaxies
1988We have obtained redshifts for 90 galaxies from a sample of objects selected with K≤18. Samples of galaxies selected by their near IR emission should be mostly composed of early type galaxies and are thus ideally suited for studies of early type galaxy evolution.

Stellar Disks in Early-Type Galaxies
1992Correlation between isophotal and physical parameters suggests that elliptical galaxies are divided into two main classes: the ‘boxy’ Es, which are likely the result of a strong environmental evolution (mergers), and the ‘disky’ Es, which represent the continuation of the SO sequence toward vanishing disk-to-bulge ratios.

Globular Clusters in Early-Type Galaxies
2006Since the Pucon Globular Cluster meeting in March 2001, there has been considerable progress in obtaining high quality spectra for Globular Clusters (GCs) around early-type galaxies. This combined with earlier imaging studies, suggests that both the blue (metal-poor) and red (metal-rich) GC subpopulations are very old.
