Nanofluid‐Enhanced Laser Lithotripsy Using Conducting Polymer Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Incorporating polymeric nanoparticles, PEDOT:PSS, with a high near‐infrared absorption coefficient into the fluid significantly enhances the dusting efficiency of Ho:YAG laser lithotripsy for kidney stone treatment. This approach, which leverages the control of light‐matter interactions, integrates seamlessly with the current laser lithotripsy workflow.

Mitochondria‐Localized Nestin Protects Mesenchymal Stem Cells from Senescence by Maintaining Cristae Structure and Function

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nestin localizes to the mitochondrial IMS through its MTS and the TOM20 import machinery. Within the mitochondria, Nestin interacts with Mic60 via its C‐terminal Tail3 domain. Loss of mitochondrial Nestin disrupts cristae architecture, leading to mitochondrial swelling, bioenergetic dysfunction, and ultimately the senescence of hMSCs.

Stage‐Resolved Phosphoproteomic Landscape of Mouse Spermiogenesis Reveals Key Kinase Signaling in Sperm Morphogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The quantitative proteomic and phosphoproteomic profiling reveals dynamic phosphorylation regulation of sperm morphogenesis. Kinase‐substrate phosphorylation network and phosphorylation module analysis, followed by in vivo knockdown and knockout analysis, identify TTBK2 and CSNK1G1 as key regulators of morphogenesis, including head, flagellar, and ...

Autologous Organoid‐T Cell Co‐Culture Platform for Modeling of Immune‐Mediated Drug‐Induced Liver Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A matrix‐free human liver organoid–T cell co‐culture platform enables modeling of immune‐mediated drug‐induced liver injury (iDILI). Using flucloxacillin and patient‐matched cells, this system recapitulates HLA‐B*57:01–restricted CD8⁺ T cell activation and hepatocyte damage.

Leukemic Cells Hijack Stromal Bioelectricity to Reprogram the Bone Marrow Niche via CaV1.2‐Dependent Mechanisms

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Leukemic blasts induce membrane depolarization in mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), contributing to a dysfunctional niche that favors leukemia progression. Here, it is demonstrated that restoring the expression of CaV1.2 calcium channel in AML‐MSCs repolarizes their membrane potential, reprogramming them toward a healthy phenotype.
