Cannabinoid CB1 Receptor in Nociceptors Mediates Postoperative Analgesia via ASIC3 Inhibition
CB1R and ASIC3 are co‐expressed in CGRP+ nociceptors of mouse DRG. Plantar incision triggers an upregulation of ASIC3 and activation of ASIC3+ neurons, driving mechanical allodynia. CB1R activation suppresses ASIC3 function and downstream ERK1/2 phosphorylation, thereby braking nociceptive signaling and accelerating pain resolution.

Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) has a markedly distinctive clinical and neuroradiological signature, with the preferential involvement of specific brain networks and the apparent sparing of others. The molecular underpinnings of the strikingly selective anatomical vulnerability have not been fully elucidated to date despite the potential ...

Early Versus Delayed Cord Clamping: A Quasi-Experimental Study
ABSTRACT Introduction: This study aimed to determine the postpartum effects of early versus delayed cord clamping on neonatal and maternal parameters. METHODS: This quasi-experimental study was conducted on term pregnant women in labour at a tertiary care center for 1 year. Selected 340 participants were randomized into two groups equally of 170 each

Dissecting the dissection laboratory: Elements for designing a human anatomy laboratory
Abstract The human anatomy dissection laboratory is a critical component of anatomical and medical education. Development, maintenance, and stocking of these laboratory spaces have unique demands, with all of the challenges in running a laboratory with Biosafety Laboratory Level 2 (BSL‐2) classification, housing a large volume of tissues saturated with

Early vs. Delayed Umbilical Cord Clamping [PDF]
Nearly 4 million infants are born annually in the United States. Events during birth can have life-long implications. Early cord clamping is associated with a decreased risk of jaundice, whereas delayed cord clamping is associated with a decreased risk ...

Homologous membrane wrapped ZIF‐8 nanoparticles were proposed to improve biocompatibility and targeting ability to neural stem cells (NSCs). ZIF‐8‐SCM NPs exhibit pH responsiveness, thereby generating an intracellular Zn2+ storm to accelerate neural differentiation through calcium and MAPK signaling pathways. Moreover, they promote function recovery in
