Interlayer‐Mediated Stabilization of Metastable P63cm ScFeO3 on Al2O3
This work develops an interlayer‐mediated stabilization method, demonstrated by the deposition of the P63cm phase of ScFeO3 ‐a metastable polymorph that exhibits multiferroic and optical properties not possible in the ground state. Thin films of the P63cm phase of ScFeO3 are stabilized on (0001) Al2O3 by the spontaneous formation of two atomic layers ...

A MEMS Electromagnetic Vibration Energy Harvester with Monolithically Integrated NdFeB Micromagnets
50µm thick sputtered arrays of NdFeB micromagnets are directly integrated into a functional MEMS in‐plane electromagnetic vibration energy harvester. A combination of analytical modeling and numerical simulations guided the design of the magnet arrays and ad‐hoc coil, to produce a high transduction factor.

In situ, nanoparticle doping enhances the piezoelectric coefficient (**d₃₃**) of PVDF to ≈12 pC/N, while in situ growth of AgF and Ag₂O dopants increases β‐phase concentration. The nanogenerator achieves a 35 V open‐circuit voltage and 1.6 µA short‐circuit current, powering 10 blue LEDs and charging a 50 nF capacitor within 10 s.
