Electro‐Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 Ferroionic Heterostructures
Schematic of a ferroionic HZO heterostructure where epitaxial interfaces enable dynamic oxygen‐vacancy exchange, coupling ionic and ferroelectric degrees of freedom. Vacancy‐mediated polarization modulation biases HZO polymorphism, suppresses leakage, and enhances piezoelectric response, yielding distinct butterfly‐loop evolution and diode‐like ...

The NASA-UC Eta-Earth Program: I. A Super-Earth Orbiting HD 7924 [PDF]
We report the discovery of the first low-mass planet to emerge from the NASA-UC Eta-Earth Program, a super-Earth orbiting the K0 dwarf HD 7924. Keplerian modeling of precise Doppler radial velocities reveals a planet with minimum mass M_P sin i = 9.26 ...

We present a fully printed aqueous zinc‐ion microbattery (ZnIB) enabled by graphene‐decorated zinc anode and printed MnO@NC cathode using sustainable aqueous‐based ink formulations. The printed 3D electrodes ensure uniform zinc deposition, low overpotential, and long‐term stability.

The Solar Twin Planet Search. V. Close-in, low-mass planet candidates and evidence of planet accretion in the solar twin HIP 68468 [PDF]
[Methods]. We obtained high-precision radial velocities with HARPS on the ESO 3.6 m telescope and determined precise stellar elemental abundances (~0.01 dex) using MIKE spectra on the Magellan 6.5m telescope. [Results].

A PLATEAU IN THE PLANET POPULATION BELOW TWICE THE SIZE OF EARTH [PDF]
We carry out an independent search of Kepler photometry for small transiting planets with sizes 0.5–8.0 times that of Earth and orbital periods between 5 and 50 days, with the goal of measuring the fraction of stars harboring such planets.

Bioactive conductive Ti3C2Tx‐Ce hydrogels with with scavenging ROS and alleviating neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction are exploited for SCI treatment. This functionality is attributed to interfacial activation modification of Ti3C2Tx with Ce3+ ions to in‐situ form Ce(OH)x‐mediated protective layer, which is beneficial to enabling stable intracellular ...

A Plethora of the Earth-like Planet: Ramifications of a Fuzzy World
One primary reason for the formulation of the term Earth-like planet and the search for such planets in the galaxy is because life has arisen in such a world. Thus, this search seems justifiable as it is known here what one is looking for.

This work presents a rate‐adaptive site transformation strategy in Ag‑ethylenediamine intercalated Co9S8, which not only enables parallel water dissociation and H* adsorption, but also allows the catalyst to provide more active sites under high demand, removing a major bottleneck. The catalyst achieves a record current density of 4.2 A cm−2@2.0 V, with

As the largest terrestrial planet in the solar system, Earth experienced a prolonged major accretion, ending with the Moon-forming giant impact (MFGI), whereas the direct evidence and origin of the impactor Theia remain elusive.
