A standardized catalogue of spectral indices to advance the use of remote sensing in Earth system research

open access: yesScientific Data, 2023
Spectral Indices derived from multispectral remote sensing products are extensively used to monitor Earth system dynamics (e.g. vegetation dynamics, water bodies, fire regimes).

Artificial Intelligence in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Upscaling in situ albedo for validation of coarse scale albedo product over heterogeneous surfaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth, 2017
One of the essential steps for satellite albedo validation is upscaling in situ measurements to corresponding pixel scale over relatively heterogeneous land surfaces.

Influence of Geometric Design on Mechanical Performance of Auxetic Metastructure

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Strategic geometric reinforcement transforms auxetic performance. This study evaluates 3D‐printed arrowhead metastructures, revealing that a modified design with local ring reinforcement suppresses premature failure to achieve superior energy absorption and structural efficiency.

Automatic Sky View Factor Estimation from Street View Photographs—A Big Data Approach

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2017
Hemispherical (fisheye) photography is a well-established approach for estimating the sky view factor (SVF). High-resolution urban models from LiDAR and oblique airborne photogrammetry can provide continuous SVF estimates over a large urban area, but ...

ANALYSIS OF LAND USE SPATIAL PATTERN CHANGE OF TOWN DEVELOPMENT USING REMOTE SENSING

open access: yes, 2018
The Assessment of the physical character of a city is considered relatively easier than the social-cultural aspects. It is important to recognize the type of city form and to predict the behavior of people in the city and its surrounding.
