Modeling of German Low Voltage Cables with Ground Return Path
In this contribution, measurement data of phase, neutral, and ground currents from real low voltage (LV) feeders in Germany is presented and analyzed. The data obtained is used to review and evaluate common modeling approaches for LV systems.

Two Sided Earthing Versus one Sided Earthing for Ethernet Cables [PDF]
The discussion about the earthing method of Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cables never stops. There is a difference in opinion between Local Area Network (LAN) equipment manufacturers and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) specialists.

The Earth System: An Introduction to Earth Systems Science [PDF]
The atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and solid Earth are the basic components of the Earth system. These different components are not separate entities; instead they interact over a broad range of spatial and temporal scales. Determining how various internal and external influences impact each component of the Earth system individually is ...

Earth system economics: a biophysical approach to the human component of the Earth system [PDF]
Abstract. The study of humans has largely been carried out in isolation from the study of the non-human Earth system. This isolation has encouraged the development of incompatible philosophical, aspirational, and methodological approaches that have proven very difficult to integrate with those used for the non-human remainder of the Earth system. Here,

Influence of LV neutral grounding on global Earthing Systems [PDF]
International Standards define a Global Earthing System as an earthing net created interconnecting local Earthing Systems (generally through the shield of MV cables and/or bare buried conductors). In Italy the Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas

Global Earthing Systems: Characterization of Buried Metallic Parts [PDF]
International Standards IEC 61936-1 and EN 50522 define a Global Earthing System (GES) as the earthing network, created by the interconnection of local earthing systems, that should guarantee the absence of dangerous touch voltages.
