ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.

Earth System Law

open access: yes, 2023
The existing body of international environmental law has been created in the context of a relatively stable and harmonious Holocene epoch. This assumed regulatory premise of Holocene stability and harmony has resulted in a collection of international environmental law norms that are unable to sufficiently address the governance challenges emanating ...

COMPARISON OF EARTHING TECHNIQUES FOR SINGLE LINE TO GROUND FAULT IN 11 kV DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM USING SIMULINK

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Sustainable Development, 2019
In this paper, a new smart earthing method was proposed to reduce the current magnitude of a single line to a ground fault and thus reduce the damage caused by this fault.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
