Design, Implementation and Testing of a Network-Based Earthquake Early Warning System in Greece

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2021
In this study we implemented and tested the Earthquake Early Warning system PRESTo (PRobabilistic and Evolutionary early warning System, Satriano et al., 2011) on the Greek Ionian islands of Lefkada, Zakynthos and Kefalonia.

Earthquake early warning

open access: yesBUTSURI-TANSA(Geophysical Exploration), 2007

Optimizing Strategies for Non‐Invasive Prospection of Settlements in the Intertidal Zone: A Case Study From the Centre of the Drowned Medieval Village of Tolsende (Scheldt Estuary, the Netherlands)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Medieval and early modern drowned villages in the intertidal zone of the Scheldt estuary (the Netherlands) constitute intriguing yet largely understudied components of north‐western Europe's underwater cultural heritage. Despite their high archaeological potential as time capsules of past settlement landscapes, research has remained limited ...

From Green Governance to Biodiversity Strategy: The Role of Environmentally Experienced Directors in Chinese Firms

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how directors with environmental protection (EP) backgrounds influence corporate biodiversity concern (BIO) among Chinese A‐share listed firms from 2008 to 2023. Drawing on Upper Echelons Theory, we argue that directors' environmental expertise shapes firms' biodiversity strategies.
