Vendian and Riphean basins and prospectivity on the East European Platform

Petroleum Geoscience, 1997
Riphean-Vendian strata represent the lowest stratigraphic interval of the East European Platform which could contain undiscovered hydrocarbons. Regional geophysical surveys in the 1990s have aimed at studying the structural features and petroleum potential of the ancient strata of the Moscow syneclise.

Middle Paleozoic impact event in the southwest of the East European Platform

Геология и геофизика, 2018
© 2018 A zone with high remanent magnetization and magnetic susceptibility has been identified at the boundary between Lower Devonian gray- and red-colored deposits in the basin of the Dniester River in the southwest of Ukraine (in the southwest of the East European Platform).

Lineaments and petroleum occurrences in the north of the East European Platform

International Geology Review, 1982
Lineaments of the East European Platform were studied via satellite-photograph interpretation. These networks of basements faults determined the principal structural features of the various horizons of the sedimentary cover and basement. Development of the faults was associated with the formation of local brachyanticlines (potential structural traps ...

Middle Permian rostroconchs of the Kazanian stage of the East European Platform

Paleontological Journal, 2015
Kazanian Rostroconchia of the East European Platform are represented by only two species: Oxyprora tschernyschewi (Licharew, 1931) and Anetshella golowkinskyi (Netchaev, 1884). The shell morphology in the families Bransoniidae and Anetshellidae, and related terminology, are discussed.

Tectonic differentiation of Precambrian basement formations in East European Platform

International Geology Review, 1967
Principal unconformities and terminal folding, on the time scale from Belomorian through Caledonian, are correlated tentatively for constituents of the East European Platform (Baltic Shield, Ukrainian Massif, Eastern Margin, and their subordinates), Canadian Shield and Greenland, parts of Great Britain, and northern margin of the African Platform ...
