Gastric Cancer: Pathobiology and Therapeutics

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
Gastric cancer is a multistep process driven by the interplay of microbial virulence, host epithelial injury, and evolving molecular reprogramming. Initiation involves pathogen‐induced epigenetic alterations and the early subversion of key oncogenic signaling networks, facilitating the transition from chronic injury to metaplasia and malignant ...

Dynamic Immune Reconstitution and Clinical Outcomes of Three Different Protocols for Haploidentical Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study compared clinical outcomes and immune reconstitution in haplo‐HSCT patients receiving PTCY (n = 45), ATG (n = 45), or PTCY+ATG (n = 45). The ATG group had superior OS (p = 0.029) and LFS (p = 0.034), with higher CD3+ and CD8+ T‐cell counts at 3 months.

From Data to Decisions: How Machine Learning and Generative Artificial Intelligence Are Redefining Precision Medicine in Kidney Transplantation

open access: yesOrgan Medicine, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 102-118, June 2026.
This review evaluates how machine learning, multimodal integration, and generative AI optimize kidney transplant outcomes. These tools enable superior prediction and personalized therapy but face hurdles in data volume, generalizability, and ethics. Future clinical adoption depends on continued innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration to overcome

Vascular Immune Remodeling: A CD4+ T Cell–Driven Immune Trajectory Associated With Arterial Stiffness

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study integrated arterial stiffness with peripheral TCRβ repertoire and single‐cell transcriptomics in adults without cardiovascular disease, revealing a CD4+ T cell–driven “vascular immune remodeling” trajectory distinct from classical immunosenescence: increased TCR diversity, broad expansion of low‐frequency public clones and virus‐associated ...

Activation of the Lectin Pathway Drives Persistent Complement Dysregulation in Long COVID

open access: yesImmunology, Volume 178, Issue 2, Page 261-268, June 2026.
The complement cascade, a series of blood proteins that assists in the recognition and neutralisation of pathogens, either independently or in conjunction with antibodies, is persistently activated in patients with long COVID. We found that blood plasma samples from patients with long COVID contained elevated concentrations of the mannan‐binding lectin‐
