Analysis of the direct radiation of EC motors up to 10 MHz

Electronically commutated motors can radiate high electrical fields in the lower frequency range up to 10 MHz. The radiation stems from the motor itself and not from the connected wiring harness. Several hypotheses for this direct radiation were examined. An analysis by 3D electro-magnetic field simulations reveals the root cause.
