Channel Configuration Effects in 3D-ECAP
Materials Science Forum, 2006This paper explains the concept of 3D-ECAP with “in-die rotation” and presents the results of experiments for two sets of tooling with channel passages orientated at 90° and 120°. The results for aluminium 1070 are compared in terms of the process force, billet end effects, mechanical properties and structure of the material.

Damping in AZ31 ECAP-Processed Alloy
Solid State Phenomena, 2008Study of anelasticity in AZ31 magnesium-based alloy in initial (hot-rolled at 370 оС) condition and after one and four passes of equal channel angular pressing is carried out. An internal friction peak was found at 170 °C at a frequency f of about 1 Hz.

Effect of post-rolling after ECAP on deformation behavior of ECAPed commercial Al–Mg alloy at 723K
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2005Abstract A commercial Al–Mg alloy was subjected to equal channel angular pressing of four passes with and without post-rolling, and the effects of post-rolling on the deformation characteristics of the alloy at 723 K were examined. Post-rolling was found to influence the deformation behavior significantly.
