UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

The Eccentric Connectivity Index of Dendrimers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
If G is a connected graph with vertex set V , then the eccentric connectivity index of G, ξ C (G), is defined as is the degree of a vertex v and ecc(v) is its eccentricity.

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

CX3CL1 in Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease: Plasma Dynamics Across Age and Disease Stages

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Backgrounds Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid‐beta plaques, tau tangles, and neuroinflammation. C‐X3‐C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CX3CL1, also known as fractalkine), a neuroimmune chemokine implicated in AD pathogenesis, shows inconsistent alterations in plasma/serum across studies.

On a Lower Bound for the Eccentric Connectivity Index of Graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The eccentric connectivity index of a graph $G$, denoted by $ξ^{c}(G)$, defined as $ξ^{c}(G)$ = $\sum_{v \in V(G)}ε(v) \cdot d(v)$, where $ε(v)$ and $d(v)$ denotes the eccentricity and degree of a vertex $v$ in a graph $G$, respectively. The volcano graph $V_{n,d}$ is a graph obtained from a path $P_{d+1}$ and a set $S$ of $n-d-1$ vertices, by joining ...

Structure–Function Decoupling of the Sensorimotor and Default Mode Networks in Black Americans With MS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

VERTEX-ECCENTRICITY DESCRIPTORS IN DENDRIMERS

open access: yesStudia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai Chemia, 2017
In this paper, we present graph theoretical methods to compute several vertex-eccentricity-based molecular descriptors such as the eccentric connectivity index, total eccentricity, average eccentricity and first and second Zagreb eccentricity indices ...
