ECCRINE POROMA

The Journal of Dermatology, 1980
ABSTRACTA case of eccrine poroma situated on the inner surface of the right heel of a Japanese patient was studied using histochemistry and electron microscopy.Histochemically, a strong positive reaction for Phosphorylase was observed in the lower part of the tumor. In contrast, glycogen granules were distributed in large numbers in the upper part.

The Enigmatic Eccrine Epithelioma (Eccrine Syringomatous Carcinoma)

The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 1990
Eccrine epithelioma is an exceedingly rare cutaneous tumor thought to represent the malignant counterpart of the eccrine dermal syringoma. To data, only 10 accepted cases appear to have been reported. Two additional cases are described here and the literature is reviewed. The first case showed the typical histologic features of eccrine epithelioma. The

Eccrine Angiomatous Hamartoma

The Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology, 1994
background. Eccrine angiomatous hamartoma (EAH) is a rare benign lesion that mimics a capillary (“strawberry”) hemangioma (CH) in appearance. EAH slowly grows and becomes symptomatic whereas CH typically regresses over time.objective. To increase awareness of this rare hamartoma and emphasize the need for histopathologic evaluation of similar ...

Malignant Eccrine Hidradenoma

Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, 2013
Hidradenomas are adenomatous tumors of sweat gland origin that are usually benign and can occur in any cutaneous skin surface. When malignant, the tumors have high recurrence rates and are often fatal. Because of their infrequency and clinical ambiguity, hidradenomas are often misdiagnosed as other soft-tissue masses.

Eccrine-Centered Nevus

Archives of Dermatology, 1973
A peculiar form of pigmented nevus consisting of grouped pigmented papules clinically was examined. It was found that these nevus cell nevi have a unique pattern of proliferation around and in the eccrine sweat duct in epidermal-dermal structures. I propose to call this type of nevus ``eccrine-centered nevus."

Epidermotropic eccrine porocarcinoma

Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1991
Three cases of epidermotropic eccrine porocarcinoma are summarized and compared with reported cases. All patients had a long-standing tumor on a lower extremity that rapidly metastasized to the skin and proximal lymph nodes. The histologic picture was consistent with an intraepidermal eccrine sweat gland carcinoma.

Basal cell tumor with eccrine differentiation (eccrine epithelioma)

Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 1984
A case of eccrine epithelioma is presented. A 62‐year‐old woman was seen for with a lesion on the left forearm present for 36 years, and complicated by multiple recurrences. Histopathologically, it was composed of numerous small nests of basaloid cells, cystic and syringoid epithelial structures within the reticular dermis and invading the contiguous ...

Syringoid eccrine carcinoma

Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1991
Eccrine carcinomas are locally aggressive and have an infiltrative growth pattern. They have a variable clinical appearance and a diversity of histologic findings that often make the diagnosis difficult. The histologic findings, together with immunoperoxidase and enzyme histochemical studies, usually allow differentiation between eccrine carcinomas ...
