Decoding the Role of Caveolin‐1 in Morphological Diversity and Self‐Renewal of Breast Cancer Cells

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 59, Issue 5, May 2026.
The silence of caveolin‐1 (Cav‐1) reproduced the morphological evolutionary behaviour of cancer cells, which is similar to the epithelial‐mesenchymal transition process. And Cav‐1 dependent morphological changes could affect cancer cell self‐renewal capacity through maintaining the morphological stability.

Exploring Loneliness in Family Caregiver–Care Recipient Dyads: Implications for Caregiver Burden

open access: yesGeriatrics &Gerontology International, Volume 26, Issue 5, May 2026.
Among 260 caregiver–care recipient dyads involving persons with cognitive impairment in Singapore, latent class analysis identified three dyadic loneliness profiles. The profile marked by caregiver loneliness showed significantly higher caregiver burden, whereas the recipient‐only loneliness profile did not differ significantly from the low‐loneliness ...

Rare Natural SNP Activates SHOOT APICAL MERISTEM ENLARGER1 to Increase Branch Number and Silique Number on the Main Inflorescence in Brassica napus

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 5, Page 2768-2786, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Brassica napus is the second most important oil crop worldwide. Number of primary branches (Branch number, BN) and silique number on the main inflorescence (SMI) are key yield‐related quantitative traits. Here, we cloned a major QTL, qDB.A09, which simultaneously influences BN and SMI.

Molecular Targeted Suppression of Male Fertility in Amaranthus palmeri S. Watson: Function and Layered Double Hydroxide Nanosheets‐Based Delivery System of ApmiR319

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 5, Page 3296-3307, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Amaranthus palmeri is one of the most troublesome invasive agricultural weeds worldwide, exhibiting super invasiveness and high resistance to conventional management strategies. Artificial microRNA‐mediated silencing technology, coupled with a nanoparticle‐mediated delivery system, represents an attractive approach for fertility control in A ...
