HD 46407: The First Eclipsing-Binary Barium Star [PDF]
A long-term, high-accuracy, differential uvby monitoring of a sample of 19 barium stars revealed that HD 46407, a well known barium star with an orbital period of 458 d, is an eclipsing binary. The eclipse (of the companion by the barium star) was most clearly seen in November 1988, when a dip of 0.02 mag (in y) having a FWHM of about 10 d was recorded

A Search for Exoplanets in Short-Period Binary Star Systems [PDF]
This paper reports the progress of a search for exoplanets with S-type orbits in short-period binary star systems. The selected targets have stellar orbital periods of just a few days. These systems are eclipsing binaries so that exoplanet transits, if

A transiting companion to the eclipsing binary KIC002856960 [PDF]
We present an early result from an automated search of Kepler eclipsing binary systems for circumbinary companions. An intriguing tertiary signal has been discovered in the short period eclipsing binary KIC002856960. This third body leads to transit-like

Eclipsing Binaries in Multiple Star Systems [PDF]
Although the majority of the known eclipsing binaries are in systems which consist of only the two eclipsing components, a significant number of them do occur as components of triple star systems or higher order multiple star systems. In this context this term is restricted to those systems whose components are in closed orbits.

An Adaptive Optics Survey of Stellar Variability at the Galactic Center [PDF]
We present a $\approx 11.5$ year adaptive optics (AO) study of stellar variability and search for eclipsing binaries in the central $\sim 0.4$ pc ($\sim 10''$) of the Milky Way nuclear star cluster.

Discovery and characterisation of long-period eclipsing binary stars from Kepler K2 campaigns 1, 2 and 3 [PDF]
The Kepler K2 mission now makes it possible to find and study a wider variety of eclipsing binary stars than has been possible to-date, particularly long-period systems with narrow eclipses.

Eclipsing binary stars in the era of massive surveys First results and future prospects
Our thinking about eclipsing binary stars has undergone a tremendous change in the last decade. Eclipsing binary stars are one of nature’s best laboratories for determining the fundamental physical properties of stars and thus for testing the predictions

A CONSTRUCTION OF A SEMI-AUTOMATIC TELESCOPE FOR ECLIPSE TIMING OBSERVATIONS OF ECLIPSING BINARY STARS [PDF]
We constructed the photometric observation system with a small semi-automatic telescope for the systematic observations of eclipse timings of eclipsing binary stars.

TESS Eclipsing Binary Stars. I. Short-cadence Observations of 4584 Eclipsing Binaries in Sectors 1–26 [PDF]
Abstract In this paper we present a catalog of 4584 eclipsing binaries observed during the first two years (26 sectors) of the TESS survey. We discuss selection criteria for eclipsing binary candidates, detection of hitherto unknown eclipsing systems, determination of the ephemerides, the validation and triage process, and the derivation

ELLC - a fast, flexible light curve model for detached eclipsing binary stars and transiting exoplanets [PDF]
Very high quality light curves are now available for thousands of detached eclipsing binary stars and transiting exoplanet systems as a result of surveys for transiting exoplanets and other large-scale photometric surveys.
