Probing Electrocatalyst Design for Product Selectivity in CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Selective CO2 electroreduction is controlled by catalyst structure, dynamic surface reconstruction, adsorbate interactions, and reaction microenvironment. This review summarizes Cu‐ and non‐Cu‐based catalysts, single‐atom and molecular systems, degradation pathways, and operando/computational strategies for steering CO2RR toward hydrocarbons ...

The Plant‐to‐Plant Circular Strategy: Coupling Photodegradation and Phytoremediation With Plant‐Based Nanomaterials for Plastic Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Plant‐based nanomaterials derived from alfalfa serve as dual‐function catalysts, coupling photodegradation and phytoremediation to degrade polyethylene under UV‐A light and in soil. The nanomaterials work synergistically with alfalfa and soil microbes, achieving efficient plastic breakdown without trophic transfer.

Coordination analysis of flood-sediment transportation, eco-environment, and socio-economy coupling in the governance of the Yellow River Basin system

open access: yesScientific Reports
The watershed system has a complex game relationship between the benign operation and coordinated development of various elements of flood-sediment transportation, eco-environment, and socio-economy (FES).

Adaptation of Echinococcus Multilocularis to Oxidative Stress Depends on EmPDK‐Mediated Metabolic Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metabolic adaption presents a vital survival strategy for E. multilocularis. This study identifies EmPDK as a central metabolic regulator governing glucose metabolic reprogramming. Oxidative stress activates EmHIF1α to induce EmPDK expression. Mechanistic characterization reveals this ROS/EmHIF1α/EmPDK axis drives glycolytic reprogramming to sustain ...

Short‐term grazing reduced community stability by decreasing community‐wide asynchrony and dominant species stability

open access: yesEcosphere
The effects of grazing on natural grasslands' plant composition, diversity, and productivity depend on the intensity of grazing. Besides grazing intensity, animal composition is also important. However, whether and how sheep grazing intensity affects the

Ca(OH)2-modified Camellia oleifera shell biochar: preparation, characterization, and adsorption of NH4+ and PO43−

open access: yesBiochar X
Excessive nitrogen and phosphorus in aquatic systems trigger eutrophication and environmental contamination. Herein, Ca(OH)2-modified Camellia oleifera shell biochar was fabricated as an adsorbent for NH4+ and PO43− removal, with the effects of contact ...
