Statistical Quantum Mpemba Effect From Griffiths Rare Regions
The statistical quantum Mpemba effect emerges robustly in disordered open quantum systems. Griffiths rare regions generate a hierarchy of relaxation times that simple extended Bloch states naturally probe, without requiring fine‐tuned initial states or detailed knowledge of the Liouvillian spectrum.

Artificial dissipative systems typically operate under batchwise fuel additions into closed reactors, leading to only transient nonequilibrium states. Alternative fueling approaches show how moving toward thermodynamically open conditions, sustained fuel supply, and reaction‐diffusion control provide enhanced regulation of self‐assembly and access to ...

Abstract Understanding the coastal zone of the Antarctic Ice Sheet (AIS), where it interacts with the Southern Ocean and warmer air masses, is crucial for predicting Antarctica's influence on the global climate and sea level. This region has multiple tipping mechanisms that could trigger large, rapid, and potentially irreversible changes in the AIS ...

Volatile Organic Compounds in Rainwater: A New Frontier in Atmosphere–Biosphere Interactions
Abstract Rainwater is a key vector of atmospheric deposition, linking the atmosphere with terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. While the inorganic chemistry of precipitation (dominated by sulfate, nitrate, ammonium, and trace metals) has been extensively studied, organic compounds in rainwater have received less attention, and Volatile Organic Compounds

ABSTRACT In the central nervous system (CNS), the tissue microenvironment is continuously monitored and regulated to secure the unobstructed function of neurons and of their networks. This is a key function of the neurovascular niche (NVN), which is the interface between the cells of the nervous tissue and the cells and the content of blood vessels. It

ABSTRACT The literature lacks a comprehensive model examining the performance impact of certifying and maintaining standardised innovation management systems (SIMS) or clarifying the advantages of standardisation. This study addresses that gap by analysing the key determinants of the benefits associated with SIMS certification and maintenance.
