Alzheimer's disease affects multiple brain cell types through distinct epigenetic mechanisms. Although bulk analyses obscure these cell‐type‐specific changes, cell sorting and single‐cell epitranscriptomic approaches provide the resolution needed to uncover and understand epigenetic dysregulation at the cell‐type level in AD.
