RFLP Standardization Report for 210H/EcoRI
1989The 210H/MspI system identified six standard fragments in the core cell lines as shown in Table 1 and Figure 1. Much of the data received for this system was difficult to interpret because all the fragments were of low molecular weight and thus produced indistinct bands.

RFLP Standardization Report for C2/EcoRI
1989C2/EcoRI blots were received from two laboratories. The C2/EcoRI system identified two fragments on the core cell lines (Table 1 and Fig. 1). The two fragments were complementary except for one discordance (cell 9060), which had a different fragment in each of the two blots. No other resolution of discrepancies was required.

How the EcoRI endonuclease recognizes and cleaves DNA
BioEssays, 1992AbstractOne popular recombinant DNA tool is the EcoRI endonuclease, which cleaves DNA at GAATTC sites and serves as a paradigm for sequence specific DNA‐enzyme interactions. The recently revised X‐ray crystal structure of an EcoRI‐DNA complex reveals EcoRI employs novel DNA recognition motifs, a four α‐helix bundle and two extended chains, which ...
