Invasive Species Population Status Modeling Using Stage Based Matrix: Mount Elgon Ecosystem
The matrix models have been applied to evaluate the impacts and management of tree species. Modeling of invasive species using stage based matrix methods has not been exploited to understand the population structure of the invasive species.

Targeting Lactate and Lactylation in Cancer Metabolism and Immunotherapy
Lactate, once deemed a metabolic waste, emerges as a central regulator of cancer progression. This review elucidates how lactate and its epigenetic derivative, protein lactylation, orchestrate tumor metabolism, immune suppression, and therapeutic resistance.

Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) transform breast cancer therapy, yet resistance limits their durability. Emerging evidence reveals that ADC failure is not solely tumor‐intrinsic but shaped by dynamic tumor–microenvironment interactions that alter drug delivery, processing, and response.

An iron‐based nanozyme selectively eliminates intratumoral P. anaerobius while catalytically generating ROS to induce ferroptosis, synergistically suppressing colorectal cancer growth and activating anti‐tumor immunity through immunogenic cell death. ABSTRACT The intratumoral microbiota is a critical determinant of therapeutic outcomes in colorectal ...

This study identifies an immunometabolic axis wherein SAM‐driven PRMT1 methylates LDHA, enhancing its activity. The resultant lactate induces STAT3 K709 lactylation, which stabilizes an active conformation to promote STAT3 phosphorylation and IL‐10 expression.

Using ecosystem modeling for fisheries management and marine ecosystem conservation: Where are we?
No abstracts are to be cited without prior reference to the author. The writing is on the wall: we are moving toward ecosystem-based management of fisheries, and it is clear that ecosystem modeling is an important tool for evaluating scenarios and trade ...

Dissecting the Ecological Structure of Health and Disease in the Global Gut Microbiome
We introduce Wiredancer, a framework that identifies three continuous ecological factors of the gut microbiota. These factors exhibit distinct patterns across health and disease, jointly capturing disrupted ecological stability and offering a new perspective for precision diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.
